71000 Product Information
71000
Standard PEEK™ Dispersion
The
71000 series TECHTREX™ formula contains pure PEEK™ ,
as a water based dispersion. TECHTREX™ 71000 may be applied
as a stand alone coating and will give the full range of properties
expected of PEEK™ . In addition when a higher film build is needed,
multiple coats of 71000 may be applied until the desired thickness
is achieved. If the final surface properties require one of the
other TECHTREX™ formulations, it may be applied as the final
coat. TECHTREX™ 71000 may also be mixed with any other TECHTREX™
formula, to alter the specific characteristics of any one coating.
TECHTREX™
71000 meets the composition requirements of:

FDA regulation 21CFR 177.2415 for repeated use in contact with
food. (End users and processors should note that it is the responsibility
of the manufacturer of the food contact article to assure compliance
of the extractive limitations of 21 C.F.R. 177.2415.)
- Sanitary
Standard 20-20 as multiple-use plastics materials for use as product
contact surfaces for Dairy equipment.

directive 93/9/EEC for plastic in contact with foodstuffs.
