SEMA SHOW Nov. 2 - 5
(This Newsletter comes out after the end of each
month. Consequently the SEMA Show has occurred.)
The show was better attended than last year and
a lot of interest was generated in both Anealon
and DiamonDyze™.
However, the brilliance system was also very
popular with attendees. The general "feel"
of the show was upbeat and seemed to indicate
that business for the Aftermarket is improving.
If you did not get an opportunity to visit with
us at SEMA please be sure to stop by our booth
at IMIS in Indianapolis, IN, December 1 - 3 or
the Performance Racing Industry show in Orlando,
Fl, December 9 - 11, as we would enjoy meeting
you.
BRILLIANCE
A lot of attention was given to the Brilliance
system at the show. Below are a few photos
of the colors and appearances that can be
created on various parts
Brilliance colors can be applied to any
reflective or polished surface. The higher the
reflectivity, the more brilliant the colors are.
Brilliance imparts excellent chemical and
corrosion resistance, excellent UV resistance
and is very durable.
CLEAR COATINGS
Tech Line offers a wide range of Clear
Protective Coatings. These include a clear
for headers to impart more gloss to the color as
well as increase the chemical and corrosion
resistance (CilGen Seal Clear), reduce the need
for constant polishing of Aluminum,
Chrome, or other metals (LTC), and repair
damaged headlight lens (Stay Clear). These
are just a few of the possibilities. We
have coatings to shed fluids, protect against
harsh chemicals, have excellent anti-graffiti
properties and much more. One of the
possible uses is shown below, using LTC.
|
Below is pictured a
wheel and tire assembly, the wheel
coated with LTC, as it came off the
track. Virtually no mud from the
track would cling to the wheel while
racing. This reduces the weight
and imbalance that mud creates on Dirt
Track Wheels. One application is;
there is no need to constantly re-apply
as with other products. It works
great on the body of the car as well, as
any mud that does stick washes off with
minimal effort on most surfaces.
