CERMAKROME

We have just had independent confirmation that there is no detectable amount of Hexavalent Chrome present in cured CermaKrome or related products. This is important for a number of reasons related to both health issues and the requirements of many Manufacturers. Tech Line has the lowest amount of hex chrome in our Metallic Ceramic based coatings of any manufacturer, in an uncured state. This latest test confirms the superiority of the products in a cured condition.

COATING THE INSIDE OF

TURBO COMPONENTS:

The following information was posted by one of our European Customers on the Discussion Forum

Martelius-Exhaust, Finland

“We coat the insides of every single turbo manifold we make with TLHB, it's a significant help to spool the turbo and an ease of stress on the tubing material. Also an increasing number of people want their turbine housings coated on the inside too. We use the same blasting media as on the outsides.”

Many have asked about the potential and what impact on the Turbo it would have. Obviously it is necessary to make sure the surfaces are properly prepared. TLHB is a very user friendly material. Notice how they apply the coating to the ID of the parts.

"As for the laying of the actual coating, we block the cylinder head side from the flange with a rubber seal and some special clamping tools we have prepared for this. We then fill the manifold branch by branch from the collector side, flip it back over and let the coating flow back out to another container. It's important to control the position all the time so that no puddles are left inside.
