Circle Track magazine has published several
articles in the last year or so on coatings. The
first two are excellent. The third is OK, but is
focused more on one well known engine builders
experiences and was used I believe for “balance”
on the subject. These articles were written by
Jim McFarland, a well known Performance
Authority. The information will be helpful to
you and your customers.

Clear Coatings
Tech Line’s LTC has been independently tested and
shows the best CASS resistance of any clear coat
tested from any source. CASS testing is similar
to Salt Spray testing, however to make it more
aggressive they use a copper chloride
spray. Again Tech Line’s products test as #1 against all others.
Black Header
Coatings
Consistently we hear of a Black header coating
supplied by a competitor that regularly turns
brown. This is a quality issue and our CilGen
Satin Black does not have the problem at any
temperature. If you want to supply your
customers with a true Black coating, and one
that will stay black, use CilGen Satin Black. We
also show superior corrosion resistance in Salt
Spray testing.
