TECHTREX™ 72000 Product Information
 
72000 contains PFA  Product Sheet - HTML  Product Sheet - PDF  MSDS - PDF
  The 72000 series TECHTREX™ formulation contains PFA. PFA is an excellent release agent and provides a measurably harder surface than TECHTREX™ 73000, which contains PTFE. Use where a smooth durable coating with better release properties than TECHTREX™ 71000. If a thicker film build of TECHTREX™ 72000 is desired TECHTREX™ 71000 should be utilized to build or increase film thickness. TECHTREX™ 72000 series formulations should be applied as the final coat. Multiple coats of TECHTREX™ 72000 are not possible due to the release characteristics of PFA. The percentage of PFA can be modified to meet specific customer requirements.
 
TECHTREX™ 72000 meets the composition requirements of:
 
  • FDA regulation 21CFR 177.2415 for repeated use in contact with food. (End users and processors should note that it is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the food contact article to assure compliance of the extractive limitations of 21 C.F.R. 177.2415.)
