New Products at SEMA

Tech Line will be displaying a new line of coatings at SEMA this year.

These are air curing coatings designed to provide an anodized finish/appearance similar to anodizing on aluminum. The coating can be applied over Chrome, Polished Cermakrome, polished Aluminum, Polished SS and “Chromed” Plastic items. Beautiful colors with characteristics superior to anodizing.

Colors available include; Red, Blue, Purple, Gold, Teal and “Black Chrome”, with more to follow. Simply clean the surface to remove any finger prints, grease/oils or other contaminants and apply the coating. No heat is required to cure the coating. Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance. In a current test, an aluminum panel was placed in a salt spray chamber, with one side coated. After twp weeks of exposure the uncoated side was showing severe degradation due to the salt. The coated side had the same appearance as it did when placed in the chamber, a vibrant, shiny blue.

CGW COLORGARD WHITE

A new version of a High Heat White coatings is now available. It is in the ColorGard line. Color stable and cures at 500F for 1 hour. This will replace our current CermaWhite. ColorGard White is based on the same resin system as ColorGard Black and provides a very durable, corrosion resistant finish with a nice shine. The coating will air dry and may be cured in use. Available in both Retail Packaging and in bulk for shop application.

VANCE & HINES

Vance & Hines a well known manufacturer of Motorcycle Exhaust systems has chosen Tech Line as it’s supplier for their new Black coating. After reviewing materials submitted by several coating manufacturers/applicators Vance & Hines chose Tech Line’s product based on appearance and performance.
