NEW PRODUCTS
CermaWhite™
Last month we announced several new coatings. The new CermaWhite™
has real potential. It is a durable, bright white ceramic coating.
CermaWhite™ has excellent thermal capabilities and will work very
well on exhaust systems.
When top coated with our new CermaSeal™ a very shiny finish is produced,
with enhanced durability. CermaSeal™ over CermaWhite™ will give greatly
enhanced resistance to rock chips etc, on side pipes.
CermaSeal™
Creates a glossy Black Header coating
CermaSeal™ has just been tested over Black Satin™. The coating provided
a very glossy finish. In thermal testing we saw no dulling until the
coating measured 1100f on the outer surface. This is comparable to
@ 1400f base metal temperatures. At this temperature it did not go
totally dull, as sheen was still evident. There is a constant demand
for a gloss black header coating or black porcelain like finish. Black
Satin™ top coated with CermaSeal™ will fit this need very nicely.
CermaSeal™ is a very hard coating and will provide increased durability
to any coating.
In testing CermaSeal™ has shown excellent resistant to fuel and oil.
We have been running a test on one of our employee's motorcycle. We
applied CermaSeal™ over both Cermakrome™ and Colorguard™ Titanium.
Neither coating has shown any dulling. Both coated colors have had
hot oil and fuel dripping on them. The burned on fluids simply wipe
off and the coating is still glossy and smooth.

The next time you are at a race and have the opportunity to look
under the hood of a Cup car, check the steering box. If it is shinny,
it is our Cermakrome™ as applied by Dan. It is being used to impart
a highly corrosion resistant, and good looking, finish to the steering
box.
NEW PACKAGING
We started packaging our water-based coatings in gallon plastic containers
rather than the plastic bottles we were using, in August. These are
more substantial containers and should eliminate the leaks we were
occasionally experiencing with the other containers. For those who
wish to use a Ball Mill to roll the containers on for mixing, all
that is necessary is to trim the "ears" off the can. Pouring
can be a bit of a problem. However we have found an easy solution
at our local hardware store. This is a round plastic pouring spout
that fits in the grove where the lid goes. It covers the entire circumference
of the can and allows you to pour with no drips etc.
We have also seen these items at Home Depot and Lowe's. They are generally
red in color.
