SEMA

The SEMA show was a big success for Tech Line. The New CilGen “Brilliance” coatings were a hit. These coatings will be available in the first quarter of 2008. CilGen LTC Clear is now available for those wanting a clear air curing coating.

We see the appearance market as being significantly being impacted by this new series of coatings. These will be available at both retail and in bulk for shop application.

Truck Exhaust

Testing is continuing on Truck Exhaust coatings for Class A trucks. A second truck is on the road and is showing consistent fuel increase of nearly 10%. We have only been coating the exhaust manifold and turbo on these trucks. Further gains should be seen as more of the exhaust system is coated. This is all without any internal engine coating.

The benefits seen on these large diesels should translate to gains on all diesel driven vehicles. Anecdotal evidence indicates such is occurring. We will provide results when back to back testing has been performed on other vehicles.

The Diesel Market

We see this market continuing to grow. The increased use of turbo diesel engines in all classes of vehicles opens the market considerably. Coatings have consistently shown benefits in these applications. For years Performance Builders of diesel engines have made use of our coatings, both inside and on the exhaust systems. With the increased use in both light and medium duty trucks as well as expanded use in passenger cars, a large opportunity is opening for the application of coatings.
