New R & D.

Business has grown so rapidly this year that we have put a 6 month moratorium on any new coating development. This moratorium will not include products currently in development.

Normally we try to bring to market 2 to 3 new products of our own as well as develop new products to fit customer needs. The demand for new product development has been so great that we need to focus on existing projects. This does not eliminate working with customer’s on existing products to fit current needs.

New Base Coat.

Currently in development and showing great promise is a base coat that will primarily increase corrosion protection. While our Metallic Ceramic Coating, Cermakrome, has tested far above any
competitive Metallic Ceramic coatings, standard colored formulations do not approach the level of Cermakrome.

While we see the other High Heat coatings lasting for many years, we are always trying to improve their performance. The new coating simply sprays down and is allowed to dry. NO baking is necessary, as far as we can determine at this point. The coating is water based as well. After drying simply top coat with any of our high heat coatings and bake. In testing to date, the new system has shown improvement in salt spray resistance, at a level of at least twice normal. NO red rust is yet evident on the test panels, so the ultimate increase will not be known for sometime.

We are continuing to vary the ingredients and make up, to optimize the coating. It is not expected that this product will be available until the end of the year. It may be released either at the SEMA show in October or the PRI show in December.

India

We have appointed a Representative in India. Mr. Umesh Parikh of DNP Global. His territory is India. Mr. Parikh is located in Mumbai, India. His contact information will be added to our web site shortly.

We are also in discussions with firms in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
