Welcome to TechLines... April 2005TECH LINE’S PHONE CENTER IS MOVINGTo better serve our customers our Phone Order Staff will be re-locating to our Midlothian Texas Offices in June. Until then all orders will continue to be placed with our California office. Since Midlothian is centrally located, this will allow customers in most parts of the country to call at earlier hours than at present, due to our current location on the West Coast. This will also allow for more timely shipments to many of our customers who normally receive their shipments from the Texas warehouse. We will announce the new number for orders as soon as the transition has occurred. The California Office will continue to ship orders to West Coast locations as well as be the major shipping point for specialty coatings. Blending and R & D will continue at the California location. The move will also enhance our ability to develop new coatings as more time and effort will be focused on R&D. JCM MachineHousesprings, MOCharlie of JCM just passed on the following information on a 520 Cu. In., Chrysler, in a drag application. The car lost its oil pump on the final pass; however the driver kept his foot in it to the end AND drove the car pack to the pits. They fully expected the bearings and crank to be junk. Upon inspection after tear down, the crank and bearings showed no damage at all. DFL-1 was used on the bearings. In addition the combustion chamber coatings were so efficient at keeping heat in the chamber and out of the parts that they were concerned when the engine temp gauge showed a very low reading. They thought it might be broke. It wasn’t. They literally drove the car back and forth in the pits in an attempt to get what they felt were normal engine temps. Anson Powder and Performance CoatingsLancaster Texas.Jason wanted to pass on his personal experience with our coatings. Jason races a Camaro, running a small block Chevy, in the Street Stock class at the local ½ mile dirt track. He coated the Pistons, Combustion Chambers, Cyl walls and the Intake Manifold. In two weekends of racing he won his Heat and the Feature Race on BOTH weekends. He observed that his throttle response was so good that he would “jump” 2 to 3 car lengths ahead of the competition when the green flag was dropped to start the race. In addition his water temperature, which normally ran 210 to 220F, never went above 160F. He also assembled his engine using our Ultra Gel assembly lubricant. Jason remarked that he will never build another engine that does not use our coatings. Everyone that races at the track is talking about his sudden performance boost and they do not know what he did. Of course now they will. However Jason will be adding further coatings to his combination, so each week he will be running something new. YOU Can Run With The BEST OR Run With The Rest
